Every sailor longs for a Myerchin! The finest, toughest, safest and most durable of all folding rigging knives available for sailors the world over. Guaranteed for life - You will love this knife! It's been called "The BMW of folding Sailor's Knives!"

Choose either a full-smooth hawk's bill blade, or a three-quarter-serrated blade at $10.00 additional cost, (Both are hollow ground for sharpness.) Available with or without a pocketclip. (Please see insert B)).

This knife is very easy to open when it's needed in a hurry - a large opening in the 3 1/2 inch blade replaces the nail nick - easy to grab and open! The blade, as well as the marlinspike has an independent locking mechanism. All German stainless steel construction with a substantial stainless bail for a tether, as well as a shackle slot in the blade, (for when your fingers are tired or cold and just can't do the job by themselves!) means that your Myerchin can always be trusted to be there and ready when you need it with only a minimum of care.

This superb knife even comes with its own genuine leather belt sheath or soft zippered long-term storage case.

Collectors Please Take Note - Some of our customers have requested that we carry the original Myerchin folding rigging knife without a pocket clip. This original Myerchin is no longer being produced, and we have only a very few available. It is now a collector's item.

Sailors Please Take Note - We now offer the ultimate sailor's option - A Captain's model Myerchin with Hand Engraved Bolsters! ("A" above - Just click on the picture for a larger view.) Every bolster is a little different and done by a master hand engraver.(Note: Pins are not available on hand-engraved bolster version, and price includes a maroon liner.)

The inset shows (A) a hand- engraved Myerchin hand-etched with "Sailor's Dream" nude.(B) shows optional pocket clip, and C) Myerchin scrimshawed with a Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. This is the perfect presentation knife, or nautical gift! [Available only with maroon liner option.]

Our adhesive is guaranteed for life, but, for those who want extra protection, or like the look of stainless pins on each side, you can choose to have two pins on each side as an option! Shown with no pins (power yacht portrait) and 2 pins (Chesapeake Bay Skipjack). We also offer the option of either a red, black or maroon nylon liner between the ivory and the frame - looks really spiffy!

We will scrimshaw 1) a ship, and 2) your name, initials, or the date on the Fossil Ivory scales at no charge. As an option, we will scrimshaw an etching of a ship of your choice, your own boat (sail or power), or your favorite scene on one side - Just email or snailmail us a picture.

The available colors of our high quality Fossilized Ivories are shown below. (Please allow for some color variation in these natural materials.) Our wonderful Ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed many of its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the ground. In time, the Fossil Ivories you wear or use will take on very personal hues from your contact. They will become a part of you.
